Las Vegas police seek man in downtown robbery, stabbing

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they believe is connected to a robbery in which a man was stabbed several times.

Metro’s robbery section on Friday released blurry surveillance photos of the man they are seeking.

The stabbing happened about 12:17 a.m. on June 19 near downtown Las Vegas, police said.

A maintenance worker was in a parking lot near Fremont Street and Charleston Boulevard when he was stabbed several times. While the victim was on the ground the suspect took the man’s wallet and fled.

Las Vegas police describe their suspect as in his mid-20s standing about 5-feet-6-inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black Atlanta Braves baseball cap, a white and brown horizontal striped shirt and white pants.
