Las Vegas stabbing victim identified

The Clark County coroner’s office on Tuesday identified the man who was stabbed to death early Monday morning.

Officers were called to the 3300 block of Brussels Street, near Desert Inn Road and Maryland Parkway, just after 2 a.m., Las Vegas police said.

There they found, 20-year-old Juan Jesus Arenas-Gomez, of Las Vegas, bleeding on a sidewalk with stab wounds.

He later died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, police said.

The motive of the stabbing was not known on Monday and police had not made any arrests.
