Las Vegas teen ‘extremely critical’ after hit by car

A 16-year-old girl is in extremely critical condition after being hit by a car Saturday near Durango Drive and Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas police said.
Just before 5 p.m., police said a group of juveniles was running across Durango at 3585 S. Durango Dr. when the 16-year-old was struck by car. It was not immediately known if the driver stayed on scene.
She was taken to University Medical Center.
Southbound Durango, near the crash, is closed while police investigate. Police said fatal detail was en route.
