Cheyenne High School was on a brief lockdown Tuesday morning because of police activity in the area, according to Clark County School District spokeswoman Melinda Malone.
Three people were taken into custody after being found in a stolen vehicle near the high school at 3200 W. Alexander Road, near Simmons Street, according to North Las Vegas police spokeswoman Ann Cavaricci.
The lockdown started about 7:45 a.m. and lasted about one hour.
“The lockdown has been lifted,” Malone said.
