Man, 67, found slain in Henderson

A 67-year-old man was found slain in a home on the southern edge of Henderson Saturday morning, police said.
Officers were called about 11 a.m. to the 2800 block of Hartwick Pines Drive, in the Anthem neighborhood, when the man did not answer phone calls from his family, Henderson police said in a statement.
It wasn’t immediately clear how the man died, but detectives are investigating it as a homicide, police said.
More details were not immediately available.
The man will be identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
