A man was critically wounded and the godfather of his child was arrested early Thursday morning after a shooting in the west valley, Las Vegas police said.
Officers were called about 2:30 a.m. to the 1300 block of Kari Lee Court, near Charleston and Rainbow boulevards, Metro Lt. Steve Candelas said.
The shooting stemmed from an argument between the father, his wife and the godfather of the man’s child, Candelas said. The father was shot twice.
He was taken to University Medical Center and the other man was arrested, Candelas said.
