A man who was taken to the hospital in critical condition after a Saturday mobile home fire has died, according to the Clark County coroner's office.

The man, who has not yet been identified, died after being taken to University Medical Center in "extremely critical condition," North Las Vegas Fire Department spokesman Capt. Cedric Williams said Saturday.

The fire was reported about 9 a.m. in a mobile home at 3116 Orr Ave., near Pecos Road and Carey Avenue, Williams said. Firefighters were able to put out the fire in about 12 minutes, Williams said.

Upon entering the single-wide mobile home, firefighters found one man, who was subsequently transported to the hospital.

The fire caused an estimated $100,000 in damage, and the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
