Man fatally shot on D Street near Washington Avenue

One man was killed in a shooting on D Street at the Interstate 15 underpass Friday night, Las Vegas police said.
Police and a medical crew were called about 8:30 p.m. to the shooting near Washington Avenue and D Street, Las Vegas Fire Department call logs show.
One man was found dead, Metro Lt. Michael Mauntel said.
No arrests have been announced and the reason for the homicide was not immediately known, Mauntel said.
Homicide detectives were investigating and the underpass was blocked by officers.
