Man in critical condition after Sunday night shooting

A man is in critical condition after a late Sunday night shooting, according to North Las Vegas police.

Police said in a news release that the man went to University Medical Center about 9:35 p.m. suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

An investigation led police to believe the shooting happened in the street in front of a vacant home in the 3500 block of Stanley Avenue, near Pecos Road and Owens Street.

No arrests have been made.
