Man killed at East Sahara apartment complex
A shooting at the Promenade apartments in the 4800 block of East Sahara Avenue resulted in a man's death Thursday, according to a news release Friday.
Las Vegas police at 4:16 p.m. received multiple reports of shots fired and a report that a man was shot. When police arrived at the scene, they found an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The man ran into the apartment and collapsed, according to the release. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The investigation indicated that the man was outside of the apartment building when gunshots were heard, according to the release.
This is the 113th homicide investigated by Las Vegas police in 2015.
The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County coroner's office.
