A man was killed in a drive-by shooting in the northwest valley Thursday morning, Las Vegas police said.

First responders were called to the 6900 block of Welsch Circle, near West Gowan Road and North Rainbow Boulevard, shortly after 9 a.m.

The man was found dead, Metro Lt. Sean Toman said.

Metro’s homicide unit was en route, Toman said.
