Man killed in stabbing had been in brawl, police say
A man stabbed to death Wednesday in the east valley was in a brawl before he was slain, Las Vegas police said.
Homicide detectives determined the man who was killed was in a fight with several other people about noon. The fight continued into the Canyon Pointe apartment complex, 5501 East Harmon Ave., where the man was found dead with apparent stab wounds.
No suspects had been identified as of Thursday night. Police do not know what started the fight.
The man's identity will be released by the Clark County coroner's office after his family has been notified.
This is the 125th homicide investigated by the Metro in 2015.
