One man was in critical condition after an early Saturday morning shooting in the east valley.

Las Vegas police initially responded at 2:10 a.m. to reports of an illegal shooting at an apartment complex in the 4800 block of East Sahara Avenue and South Nellis Boulevard.

A second dispatch was sent at 3:53 a.m. for an assault with a gun at the same address.

Metro had no further details Saturday night .
