Man wounded in drive-by shooting in northeast Las Vegas

A man was hospitalized after being wounded in a drive-by shooting Tuesday night in northeast Las Vegas, Metro police said.

Police say a 32-year-old man was walking with his wife about 10:30 p.m. on the south side of the 4400 block of Judson Avenue, near East Carey Avenue and Lamb Boulevard. A white SUV approached and someone inside the vehicle began shooting.

The man was shot several times in the lower extremities and was taken to University Medical Center, police said. The man’s wife wasn’t injured.

Police are searching for the SUV, which was last seen traveling east on Judson Avenue.
