Driver dies after crashing into pole in northwest Las Vegas, police say

A man was hospitalized following a shooting early Wednesday morning in North Las Vegas, according to police.

The shooting happened about 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Aliante Parkway and Elkhorn Road, the agency said on Twitter.

The man was taken to University Medical Center, where police described his condition only as “stable.” They could not describe the severity his wound or wounds.

No arrests have been made, police said.
