Metro investigating east valley shooting
A man was shot in the east valley Friday morning, according to Las Vegas police.
The call came in about 11:10 a.m. from Parrish Lane, near the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Christy Lane, police said.
The wounded man is said to have injuries that are not considered life-threatening and medical assistance was requested.
Police said they have detained the shooter.
