Metro is seeking the public's help in identifying two men they said may be connected to two armed robberies at west valley parking lots on Oct. 19.
The two robberies happened within 40 minutes of each other, Metro said in a news release on Tuesday. The two men, both armed, approached people and took money and phones.
Officers about 12:50 a.m. were called to the first robbery in the 6500 block of West Charleston Boulevard, near the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard.
The next robbery happened about 1:30 a.m. at the JW Marriott, about 4 miles northwest of the first incident, Metro said.
The robbers left in a white or tan colored four-door car, possibly a Nissan Altima, Metro said.
Both robbers were described by Metro as about 25 to 30 years old.
One stands about 5 feet 8 inches and weighs about 200 pounds, Metro said. He wore a gray shirt with a "Campbell's Soup" logo on the front. The second robber stands about 6 feet and weighs about 150 pounds, Metro said. He wore dark-colored pajama pants with a "100" logo.
A third person, the driver, was not described.
