Motorcyclist dead after collision on Blue Diamond

A motorcyclist is dead after a collision on Blue Diamond Road near Decatur Boulevard Tuesday evening, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Sean Denny, 28, was riding a motorcycle west on Blue Diamond just after 8 p.m. when he rear-ended a BMW traveling in the same direction, trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said.
Denny was traveling at a high rate of speed, which might have contributed to the crash, Stuenkel said.
Denny was taken to University Medical Center where he died of his injuries, Steunkel said.
The driver of the BMW did not suffer any injuries.
