The man who died Wednesday after his motorcycle hit a wall on Interstate 15 has been identified as 24-year-old Aly D. Huerta-Espinoza of Las Vegas, according to the Clark County coroner’s office.
Huerta-Espinoza’s bike hit the wall dividing I-15 from the Charleston exit, according to Nevada Highway Patrol. The bike burst into flames. Huerta-Espinoza was ejected from the vehicle and thrown into traffic, where he was struck by a taxicab, NHP trooper Loy Hixson said. There were no reported injuries to passengers in the cab.
Hixson noted that high speed was a contributing factor.
