No arrest after Henderson police, SWAT try to serve warrant
November 26, 2014 - 11:39 am
Police and SWAT closed a residential street for about six hours Tuesday night while they tried to serve an arrest warrant, according to Henderson spokeswoman Kathleen Richards.
Henderson officers responded to 1886 Via Firenze about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday and announced themselves to the occupants, asking them to come out with nothing in their hands.
Neighbors in the area reported hearing two loud bangs about 11:20 p.m. Richards said that SWAT may have been using flash bangs to serve the warrant.
Authorities left the scene about 3 a.m. Wednesday and no arrests or injuries resulted, Richards said.
She was not able to release information about the subject of the warrant Wednesday morning.
