No suspicious package found after evacuation of southwest valley apartments

No device was found when police responded to a call of a suspicious package at a southwest valley apartment complex Thursday.

Police and firefighters responded to the complex, 5121 River Glen Drive, near the intersection of Decatur Boulevard and Harmon Avenue, just before 5:30 p.m.

“Everything is fine,” Metro Lt. Patrick Charoen said about 6:50 p.m.

Residents of the complex were evacuated while police investigated, Charoen said.
