One injured in garage fire
A person suffered minor burn injuries Monday afternoon following a garage fire in the southwest valley, Clark County Fire officials said.
Firefighters were called to a single-family home near the Spanish Trails Country Club, near Tropicana Avenue and Durango Drive about 1:42 p.m.
The fire was confined primarily to the garage, officials said.
The injured person was taken to a local hospital with minor burns to the hands.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
