One person dies in NLV collision
One person died and another was in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in North Las Vegas, police said.
The collision occurred about 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Alexander Road and Commerce Street.
Both drivers were transported to University Medical Center, where a 62-year-old woman died. The second driver, a 28-year-old man, remained in critical condition.
The intersection was expected to be closed for several hours, police said around 8:30 p.m.
