Pedestrian injured after being struck by vehicle near McCarran

A person was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle about 3:20 a.m. Thursday near McCarran International Airport.

The pedestrian was struck while walking outside of a marked crosswalk near the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Paradise Road, Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Larry Hadfield said.

The pedestrian was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
