North Las Vegas police responded about 11 p.m. to a phone call from a family member who said that Bonnie Marie Rice was dead in her home in the La Serena at the Parque apartment complex, on West Alexander Road near North Martin Luther King Boulevard.

“Arriving officers found evidence that suggests the woman was murdered,” police said in a press release early Sunday morning.
