Police investigating death of woman found near Stratosphere

Las Vegas police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found near the Stratosphere on Saturday morning.
Officers responded at 10:21 a.m. to West St. Louis and Fairfield avenues where the body was found lying in the street, according to Metro spokesman Lt. Terry Bernard.
The coroner’s office later reported that there were no obvious signs of foul play and that there didn’t appear to be anything suspicious about the death, Bernard said.
Bernard didn’t have further information on the cause or manner of the death.
