Police: Man wanted in series of pharmacy robberies

Las Vegas police seek the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with several pharmacy robberies.

The man, described as being in his late 20s, has robbed several pharmacies in Las Vegas over the past month, according to a police news release. He goes up to the counter, displays a handgun and demands drugs, police said. The employee complies and the man flees.

Metro did not disclose the locations of the pharmacies that were robbed. In a February police release about the same man, Metro said the man was wanted in the Dec. 20, 2014 robbery of a business in the 6100 block of Spring Mountain Road, near Jones Boulevard.

He is described as about 5-feet-5-inches to 5-feet-7-inches tall and about 120 to 150 pounds. The man was last seen wearing sunglasses, a black jacket, a dark shirt, blue jeans and armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information should call Metro’s Robbery Section at 702-828-3591. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or visit www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
