Police seek help in attempted robbery case

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man they said tried to rob a bank in the central valley last week.

Police said a man in his 40s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds with a full beard, entered the Citibank at 3900 Paradise Rd., near Twain Avenue, a little after 1 p.m on July 16.

The man approached the teller demanding money, and a bank manager approached the bank teller to assist, police said. Upon seeing the manager, the man left the bank empty-handed.

Police said he was wearing a blue suit with a blue dress shirt.
