Power to about 2,200 west valley homes was mostly restored on Friday after a two-hour outage had affected them earlier, according to NV Energy.

Zip codes 89103 and 89148 were the most affected. Those include the areas from Charleston Boulevard to Flamingo Road between Valley View and Rainbow Boulevards, the power company said on Friday.

The outage was reported about 2:15 p.m. and NV Energy was working to restore power to the last 118 homes two hours later, the company said.

NV Energy was investigating the cause of the outage.
