ROAD ALERT: Kyle Canyon Road delays
Motorists using Kyle Canyon Road will experience delays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday so that a wide, load-hauling bulldozer can transport materials for the flood diversion berm project, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
The delays will occur between U.S. Highway 95 and the turnoff to Rainbow Canyon Boulevard so that crews can begin construction on a temporary berm and a diversion channel. The channel will redirect rain and debris behind homes in the Rainbow subdivision.
The department had previously said the road would have to be temporarily closed, but said late Saturday that it will not be fully closed.
