Road work brings overnight lane restrictions on I-15
Northbound and southbound drivers on Interstate 15, between Lake Mead Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue, will encounter lane restrictions overnight as work on the North Fifth Street Arterial Project continues.
The restrictions will be in place from 9 p.m. Tuesday through 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Two lanes will be closed southbound, while two lanes will be closed northbound up to midnight when a third northbound lane also will be shut down, shifting traffic to a single lane that partially uses the inside shoulder.
The closures will be in effect again from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
The restrictions are needed for bridge deck concrete placement and miscellaneous construction work.
