Some valley roads closed by flooding
Roads west of town and in southern Henderson are closed Thursday afternoon due to the weather, officials said.
Clark County officials said both Bonne Springs Road and Arroyo Street off State Route 159 were closed.
Additionally, the county said that there was an advisory for minor flooding near Magic Way, Equestrian Drive and Foothills Drives in southeast Henderson. The advisory expired at 4:45 p.m.
Nevada State College officials said Nevada State Drive, the main road leading into campus, was flooded.
