South Point purse snatcher sought by Las Vegas police

Las Vegas police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who stole a purse near the South Point.

On Jan. 6 about 4:18 p.m., a man followed a person out of the casino, at 9777 Las Vegas Boulevard South, and then used force to take that person’s purse, police said. He then fled the scene.

The man, who police said was with another male before the crime occurred, is described to be about 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs 135 to 145 pounds.

He was last seen in a light gray hoodie, a gray long-sleeved shirt with an emblem on the front, khaki pants and black shoes with white soles.
