A third person killed in a fiery crash on the 215 Beltway on Monday morning has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Rodney Jensen, 50, died during a two-vehicle collision involving a Cadillac Escalade and a Mazda sedan. Don Collins , 59, of Cedar City, Utah, and Mark Boynton, 56, were also killed in the crash.
The male driver of the blue Mazda headed east on the beltway near Fifth Street lost control of his vehicle and overcorrected, causing him to cross the center median, according to Nevada Highway Patrol. The Mazda slammed into a westbound gold Cadillac Escalade, which caught on fire.
It’s not immediately clear who was driving what vehicle.
None of the passengers or drivers involved in the crash were wearing seat belts, NHP said.
