Traffic moving again after crash on I-15 South near Tropicana

Traffic is flowing again on southbound Interstate 15 after a crash involving at least three vehicles near the Tropicana Avenue exit closed two lanes, traffic cameras show.

Nevada Highway Patrol and the Clark County Fire Department were called to the crash just after 3 p.m., according to the agencies' traffic logs.

The wreck involving three cars, one of which was in the gravel on the right shoulder of I-15, blocked the two right lanes of traffic just south of the Tropicana Avenue off-ramp for about an hour and a half.

Nevada Department of Transportation cameras about 4 p.m. showed traffic backed up to Sahara Avenue and tow trucks working to remove the wrecked vehicles.

Both lanes reopened just before 4:30 p.m.

Nevada Highway Patrol was not immediately available to provide crash details, such as the extent of injuries.
