Trio kept juvenile sex abuse quiet via intimidation, police say

A patriarch police say coerced a girl into proving her love for him with sex acts also encouraged another teen to bring high school friends to his home, according to arrest reports released Wednesday.

Christopher Sena, 47, along with his wife and ex-wife, face sexual assault charges involving at least eight children over the span of 13 years. Some of the victims were the Senas’ own children and the abuse took place at multiple locations, according to Las Vegas police.

Christopher Sena, arrested in September, often told his wife Deborah Sena, 50, and one female teen that if they loved him, they would do what he told them to, the reports said. Ex-wife Terrie Sena, 43, told police she was attracted to young male and female teens, according to one police report.

The wife and ex-wife were arrested last week.

One woman police say was sexually abused as a child, told investigators that she believes her high school friends also may have been Christopher Sena’s victims as teens, police said.

Sex acts between Christopher Sena and those juveniles may have been recorded, said police. Detectives urge anyone who may have been victimized by the adults who lived in a northeast valley home near Lake Mead Boulevard and Mount Hood Street, to come forward.

Christopher Sena told one girl and one of the male victims, to “bring female friends over” and to make sure they wore bathing suits “to go in the pool,” the police report said.

One female victim, now an adult, told investigators that she saw Christopher Sena take “a number of her friends” into his office.

Neighbors on Friday told the Review-Journal that Christopher Sena appeared excited when his sons would bring their girlfriends to the house.

Intimidation and fear were used by Christopher Sena against the children, police said. He told two of them that if they reported the abuse he would “kill them” or break their legs, according to police.

Deborah Sena, Christopher Sena, Terrie Sena and their children lived in a trailer home in the 6000 block of Yellow Stone Drive.

Deborah Sena, a woman and another child told a family attorney about the abuse in September. That attorney told police, as required by law. A Metro SWAT team on Sept. 18, served a warrant at the home, where Christopher Sena was arrested and recording equipment was seized.

Images and videos depicting the adults engaged in sex acts with children were also found, according to police. That led to the arrest of Deborah Sena and Terrie Sena.

Police interviews with the victims, at least one of them an adult now, and the three Senas revealed details a Metro detective on Friday called “probably one of the worse cases that I have seen.”

A woman in her early 20s told police that Christopher Sena began abusing her when she was a preteen, but that the two female Senas weren’t aware of it, police said. When the woman was 17, she was forced to engage in sexual activity with the two women, according to police.

“As she became older, the woman began to strike herself in the stomach with a two-by-four piece of lumber fearing that she may be pregnant,” the report said. Christopher Sena abused her two to three times a week for 12 years, the woman told police.

One of the boys was only 3 years old when Christopher and Deborah Sena sexually abused him, allege police. That abuse continued into his teen years, according to police.

A female teen told investigators that she was abused by Christopher Sena every weekend, beginning when she was a fifth-grader.

During a Dec. 9 interview with police, Terrie Sena said that she was attracted to two of the teens “when they blossomed.” She described one of the teens as “really enjoyable” when he began to resemble Christopher Sena. Terrie Sena said that she eventually felt “ashamed” and “dirty.”

Investigators also said that they found a video of Deborah Sena involved in sexual acts with the family dog. Related charges have not yet been filed against her, but prosecutors said this week that the Senas will likely face more charges.

Christopher Sena faces more than 20 counts, including sexual assault against children, incest, lewdness with children and child abuse or neglect. His next court appearance is on Jan. 16.

Terrie Sena and Deborah Sena face a combined 27 similar counts. Terrie Sena will appear in court on Friday. Deborah Sena’s next court hearing is Jan. 20.

All three adults are being held at the Clark County Detention Center.
