Two lanes of I-15 reopen after crash

The two right lanes of northbound Interstate 15 have reopened after a car involved in a crash caught fire, blocking them Saturday morning, according to the Regional Transportation Commission.

Nevada Highway Patrol and was called to the vehicle fire in North Las Vegas at 9:37 a.m., the agency's traffic site showed.

The crash involving at least one vehicle happened in the right northbound lane of I-15, between Owens Avenue and Lake Mead.

The right three lanes of traffic on I-15 were closed briefly. The closure narrowed to the right two lanes about 10:15 a.m., traffic cameras showed.

NHP was not immediately available for comment on whether there were injuries related to the crash or how long the lanes would be closed.
