Two people were hospitalized in serious condition after a blaze in the east valley Tuesday morning, the North Las Vegas Fire Department said.
Firefighters responded to the home on East Owens Avenue, near the intersection of Bruce Street, about 5:30 a.m., fire department Capt. Cedric Williams said.
The fire to the single story house was under control in about five minutes, Williams said. The two people were able to leave the house on their own and were taken to University Medical Center.
