Vehicle strikes man in wheelchair crossing at Jones and Twain

A man crossing a busy intersection in a wheelchair suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle Monday morning.
It happened about 9:25 a.m. at the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Twain Avenue , Metro spokeswoman officer Laura Meltzer.
The man’s ankle was hurt. Information on whether or not he went to the hospital was not immediately available.
