Woman dies after robbery-related shooting

A woman was fatally shot in the chest in the central valley Tuesday night, Las Vegas police said.
Officers responded to Rancho and Vegas Drive at about 10:30 p.m. The shooting was robbery-related, Lt. David Gordon said. The woman was taken to University Medical Center, where she died.
Gordon said any further information would come later into the investigation from homicide detectives.
