Woman killed in Henderson hit-and-run

A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Boulder Highway and Warm Springs Road late Wednesday, Henderson police said Thursday morning.

Police said the 50-year-old woman was crossing the northbound lanes of Boulder Highway about 11 p.m. when she was hit by a silver 2003 Mercedes-Benz, according to police.

She was not in a marked crosswalk, police said in a news release.

The vehicle that struck the woman was reported stolen and found several hours after the crash. The driver was not with the vehicle, the release said.

The identity of the woman will be released by the Clark County coroner after her family has been notified.

This is the first traffic-related pedestrian fatality in Henderson this year.
