Woman with dementia missing in Henderson

Henderson police want the public’s help in finding a 73-year-old woman who went missing from a shopping mall Friday night.

Lora Blakely-Washington was last seen about 6 p.m. in Hobby Lobby’s parking lot, 625 N. Stephanie St., near Sunset Road, Henderson police said in a news release.

Washington, who has dementia, was waiting for her daughter inside a vehicle but wandered off, police said.

She was last seen wearing a black blouse with a gold butterfly on the front, dark blue pants and black sandals, police said. She wears her hair straight, stands about 5 feet tall and weighs about 147 pounds.

She’s in “good physical shape” and can walk long distances, her family told police.

Anyone with information on Washington’s whereabouts can call police at 702-267-4750.
