Tonopah principal accused of inappropriately touching students

A principal with the Nye County School District was arrested after a student said he touched her breast.

Deputies with the Nye County Sheriff’s Office investigated Tonopah High School Principal Alvin L. Eiseman, 57. Two girls said the principal touched them inappropriately, according to police. One said he touched her breast, and the other girl said he punched her arm.

Police first responded on Feb. 27 and investigated for several days, the sheriff’s office said in a Monday news release. Deputies found probable cause to make the arrest.

Eiseman was booked into the Tonopah Detention Facility on charges of open and gross lewdness and child abuse without incident.
