Below average temperatures coming to an end

The weekend's below average temperatures should be within the normal range by the end of next week, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday and Monday will see a high of 51 and a low of 34 degrees. The average high for this time of year is 60 degrees, meteorologist Chad Shafer said.

McCarran International Airport hit 32 degrees this morning, their first freezing temperatures of the season, according to the weather service.

Sunday and Monday will have light winds, a few passing clouds and no chance of precipitation before the Las Vegas Valley sees a warming trend midweek.

Tuesday will have a high of 56, Wednesday will be 60 and Thursday's 62 degree high will bring the valley to normal, and slightly above normal, temperatures.
