Conditions in the Las Vegas Valley will be cooler, clear and dry this weekend, but winds could pick up on Saturday, the National Weather Service said.

The high temperature for Thursday was 84 degrees, the weather service said. Friday is expected to top out at 83.

“It’s generally looking pretty nice the next week,” meteorologist Stan Czyzyk said.

Temperatures will drop slightly over the weekend with Saturday and Sunday showing forecast highs of 79 and 78. Saturday could see wind gusts north of 30 mph. Lows should hover in the low- to mid-50s through the weekend.

Highs are expected to rise slightly next week with an expected high of 83 on Monday.
