Warm temperatures, light breezes in store this weekend
Light winds and dry conditions are expected in the Las Vegas Valley through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday’s high will be near 78 degrees and skies will be partly cloudy, meteorologist Clay Morgan said.
Sunday will be mostly sunny with a forecast high of 81 degrees, which is about 7 degrees above normal, according to the weather service.
Winds are expected to pick up Monday, but “they won’t be anything like this week,” Morgan said in reference to Thursday’s wind storm. Gusts should only reach speeds of about 30 mph, according to the weather service.
Tuesday and Wednesday have forecast highs of 73 and 77 degrees, respectively.
