Warmer, sunny in the Las Vegas Valley this week

The Las Vegas Valley will be sunny and warm this week until a slight drop in weekend temperatures, the National Weather Service said.

“I can tell you there’s no chances of rain,” meteorologist Alex Boothe said. “But it’ll be pretty warm all week.”

Monday’s forecast high of 90 degrees could be accompanied by light breezes of 10 to 15 mph, the weather service said. The normal temperature for Oct. 23 is 78 degrees, according to the weather service. The record is 94 degrees.

Tuesday is expected to reach 88 degrees. The record is 92.

Wednesday and Thursday are expected to reach 84 degrees and 85 degrees, respectively.

Friday and Saturday are expected to kick off the weekend with 79-degree highs, the weather service said.
