ROUNDUP: Back-to-back homers rally Falcons past Wolves

Royce Salay hit a two-out home run to tie the game in the top of seventh inning Wednesday, and Janson Neff followed with a pinch-hit homer to lift Foothill’s baseball team to a 4-2 win at Basic.
Neff’s blast gave Foothill a 3-2 lead. Anthony Lopez then doubled and came home on Bligh Madris’ single to stretch the margin to 4-2.
Dean Gettman gave Basic a 2-1 lead with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth.
Bishop Gorman 27, Clark 0 — At Clark, Joey Gallo went 5-for-5 with four home runs and eight RBIs as the Gaels routed the Chargers in five innings.
Stephen Joseph was 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs for the Gaels, who had 16 different players collect at least one hit.
Johnny Sewald went 2-3 with a pair of doubles, and Justin Jones, A.J. VanMeetren and Mike Blasko each added two hits for Gorman.
Nick Hellman tossed a one-hitter and struck out four.
Sunrise Mountain 5, Valley 2 — At Valley, Saul Blanco went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double and an RBI, and the Miners used a three-run sixth inning to down the Vikings.
Daniel Guardado was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs, and Jair Padilla went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Sunrise Mountain.
Rayce Rayos was 3-for-4 with a double and a run, and David Greenoge went 2-for-3 for Valley.
Green Valley 10, Del Sol 0 — At Green Valley, Evan Van Hoosier homered, doubled and drove in three runs, and Derrick Harmon went 3-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI as the Gators blanked the Dragons in five innings.
Phillip McGovern went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI, and Alec Hutt and Jack Miller each supplied two hits for Green Valley.
Oscar Lopez smacked a double for Del Sol.
Rancho 10, Desert Pines 0 — At Rancho, Dylan Pletsch went 2-for-2 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI and tossed four scoreless innings with five strikeouts as the Rams cruised past the Jaguars in five innings.
Cody Suarez was 2-for-3 with a double, and Eric Allen went 2-for-3 for Rancho.
Eldorado 16, Chaparral 6 — At Eldorado, Sammy Gonzales and Seattle Stoneback each had two hits, two runs and two RBIs to help the Sundevils down the Cowboys in five innings.
Lucio Arreola went 2-for-3 with two runs, and winning pitcher Jonathan Rodarte tossed a six-hitter and hit a triple for Eldorado.
Brian Moya went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored for Chaparral.
Las Vegas 17, Canyon Springs 1 — At Las Vegas High, Mac Lockett homered and drove in three runs in the Wildcats’ five-inning win over the Pioneers.
J.D. Garcia and Dustin Cash each added two hits for Las Vegas.
Coronado 14, Tech 2 — At Coronado, Cody Howard went 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs and four RBIs, and James Anderson also was 3-for-3 with two doubles, three runs and three RBIs to power the Cougars past the Roadrunners in five innings.
Chandler Blanchard went 2-for-2 with a double, and Dillon Fahr and Michael Pollex each supplied two hits for Coronado.
Jackson Cofer and Kaleb Blyton combined on a two-hitter for the Cougars.
Arbor View 12, Virgin Valley 0 — At Mesquite, Tyler LeBaron went 3-for-4 with two runs, a home run, a double and two RBIs as the Aggies routed the Bulldogs in six innings.
Zach Quintana had a solo homer, three runs scored and three RBIs for Arbor View, and Ryan Chen was 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.
