ROUNDUP: Brewer, Cimarron boys outlast Legacy

Erik Brewer had 21 points to help Cimarron-Memorial’s boys basketball team hang on for a 74-71 road win over Legacy on Monday.
Rico Garrett, who finished with 11 points, gave Cimarron a 74-69 lead with a three-point play in the final 20 seconds.
Deijon Spillers added 13 points for the Spartans.
Zach Lane led Legacy with 16 points. David Jefferies had 15 points for the Longhorns, and Brandon Galindo scored 13.
Desert Oasis 71, Bonanza 56 — At Bonanza, Cameron Mich’l had 38 points to lead the Diamondbacks past the Bengals.
Mich’l had 23 points in the first half as Desert Oasis took a 34-28 lead. The Diamondbacks outscored Bonanza, 20-12 in the third quarter to pull away.
Anthony Lianzo added 10 points for Desert Oasis.
Matt Figgins led the Bengals with 17 points. Teyshawn Campbell added 11 points, and Robbie Sagel grabbed 13 rebounds for Bonanza.
Bishop Gorman 85, Sierra Vista 71 — At Sierra Vista, Shabazz Muhammad scored 35 points to lift the Gaels past the Mountain Lions.
Ben Carter added 18 points, and Rashad Muhammad scored 10 for Gorman, which led 40-37 at the half.
Viko Noma’aea paced Sierra Vista with 24 points. Donovan Williams added 15 points and nine rebounds for the Mountain Lions, which got 13 points from Maiscei Grier and 13 points and 10 assists from Xavier Rogers.
Palo Verde 73, Cheyenne 64 — At Palo Verde, Jordyn Martin had 20 points to help the Panthers hold off the Desert Shields.
Bronston Abad had 16 points, Nahjee Matlock scored 15, and Eris Winder supplied 10 for Palo Verde, which led 39-19 at the half.
Darius White and Khalid Banks each had 11 points for Cheyenne.
Arbor View 68, Shadow Ridge 47 — At Arbor View, DeAndrea Johnson had 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists to lead the Aggies past the Mustangs.
Blake Claxton had 14 points, Chase Ealy scored 13 and Brandon Hill 10 for Arbor View.
Nick Flowers led Shadow Ridge with 12 points, and David Everage scored 10 for the Mustangs.
Western 104, Pahrump Valley 45 — At Western, Kentrell Washington had 28 points, six rebounds, five assists and five steal as the Warriors cruised to victory over the Trojans.
Western held the Trojans to five points in the second quarter and built a 50-17 halftime lead.
Sir Washington added 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists, and Kenyon Washington had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Western.
Dajhan Celius led Pahrump with 18 points, and Damian Browning supplied 10 points for the Trojans.
Centennial 87, Mojave 53 — At Centennial, Aaseem Dixon had 21 points and six assists to lead the Bulldogs to the easy win over the Rattlers.
Marcus Allen added 16 points for Centennial, which led 22-8 after one quarter.
Neiman Lee had nine points and six rebounds, and teammate Evan Martin had nine boards for the Bulldogs.
Demarge Boyd had 11 points and Carlous Kline 10 for Mojave.
Faith Lutheran 48, Virgin Valley 44 — At Faith Lutheran, Joe Portaro, D’Khari Hicks, Brett Lubbe and Don Pearson scored eight points apiece as the Crusaders edged the Bulldogs.
Virgin Valley’s Cameron Jensen led all scorers with 19 points.
Spring Valley 62, Moapa Valley 55 — At Moapa Valley, Gary Payton had 25 points to lead the Grizzlies past the Pirates.
Deshaun Nowlin added 11 points for Spring Valley, which trailed 26-23 at the half.
Hayden Cooper had 15 points, and Kelan Weiss scored 12 for Moapa Valley.
