ROUNDUP: Lockett explodes for 34 as Western girls upset Durango

Naz Lockett poured in 34 points Friday to help Western’s girls basketball team stun visiting Durango, 66-62.

Brandi Jackson added 10 points for Western, which made 16-of-30 free throws to Durango’s 6 of 15.

Tiarra Beville scored 27 to lead Durango.

Bishop Gorman 77, Bonanza 14 — At Gorman, Zhane Dikes scored 17 points, and the Gaels opened up leads of 42-6 at the half and 63-10 after three quarters.

Amber Lane added 13 points for Gorman.

Rayline San Miguel and Tranee Jenkins each had four points to lead the Bengals.

Sierra Vista 66, Clark 37 — At Clark, Jasmine Suarez scored 26 points, and the Mountain Lions broke out to a 35-12 halftime lead and cruised past the Chargers.

Jeanette Jackson and Melia Tadytin each added 10 points for Sierra Vista.

Jacqueline Garcia had 14 points, and Angelena Cook scored 12 for Clark.

Legacy 70, Shadow Ridge 30 — At Shadow Ridge, Shakita Cox had 24 points, and the Longhorns outscored the Mustangs 41-10 in the second half.

Latia Matthews added 13 points, and Martia Moore scored 11 for Legacy.

Niki Lawson led Shadow Ridge with nine points.

Mojave 52, Arbor View 38 — At Arbor View, Jazzmine Robinson had 20 points, and the Rattlers used a 14-6 third-quarter run to begin to pull away from the Aggies.

Jazmine Pedraza added 14 points, and Jasmine Gardner scored 10 for Mojave.

Darie Martin had 16 points, and Jena Valenzuela scored 10 for Arbor View.

Faith Lutheran 50, Cimarron-Memorial 40 — At Faith Lutheran, Kelsey McCourt and Sam Leonard each scored 14 points to lead the Crusaders past the Spartans.

Tyler Simpson led Cimarron with 13 points.

Desert Oasis 66, Spring Valley 25 — At Desert Oasis, Tatiana Kearn scored 20 points, and the Diamondbacks never looked back after taking a 22-6 first-quarter lead.

Sammi Tso drained four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for Desert Oasis.

Savanna Smith and Jessica Stevens each had six points for Spring Valley.

Desert Pines 45, Boulder City 44 — At Desert Pines, Kiana Alexander had 15 points, and the Jaguars held off the Eagles.

TaQuiyyah Boyles and Cydney Myles each had 14 points for Desert Pines.

Karlee Koopman scored 14 points, and Whitney Barlow added 12 points for Boulder City.

Virgin Valley 45, Pahrump Valley 30 — At Pahrump, Madison Bowler led a balanced attack with 11 points, and the Bulldogs built a 34-12 lead after three quarters and cruised past the Trojans.

Alyson Kunzi led Pahrump with 17 points.

Agassi Prep 51, Lake Mead 39 — At Lake Mead, Alannah Conway scored 20 to lead the Stars past the Eagles.

Kayla Johnson added 12 points, and LaBrishun Hardwick had 11 points for Agassi.

Taylor Badua-Kono paced Lake Mead with 20 points.

Calvary Chapel 41, Laughlin 19 — At Calvary Chapel, Phallen Nelson had 15 points, nine steals and five rebounds to help the Lions cruise past the Cougars.

Deja Harris logged six points and nine rebounds to help Calvary Chapel.

Needles 77, The Meadows 20 — At Needles, Calif., Holly Laswell and Gena Chavira each had 12 points, and Needles jumped out to a 36-2 halftime lead and routed The Meadows.

Dechaunee Russell added 11 points, and Cheyenne Alexander scored 10 for Needles.

Lincoln County 49, Mountain View 29 — At Mountain View, Tia Florence scored 21 points to lead the Lynx past the Saints.

Melanie Florence added 17 points for Lincoln County, which led 32-15 at halftime.

Briana Marruffo paced Mountain View with 10 points, four assists and eight steals.

Round Mountain 38, Sandy Valley 32 — At Sandy Valley, Morgan Manley scored 12 points to help the Knights defeat the Sidewinders.

Kiersten Huang scored 10 points to lead Sandy Valley, which rallied to make it close in the second half.
